Last Week, Remedy Drive frontman David Zach sent out an update about the band to their newsletter list, announcing their forthcoming May 2nd release, an EP titled Light Makes A Way, and bringing the sad news of his three brothers exiting the band. Check out the announcement below and don't forget to download the new single (click here) and pre-order the EP for just $5.00 (click here)!

MESSAGE FROM REMEDY DRIVE
Hello my friends,
David here. It's been a while since we've sent out an update and there have been so many changes in our world in the past several months. Some of these changes have been hard and some have been exciting. I am glad that I have the opportunity to share them all with you now.

First, it is with a heavy heart that I tell you that after touring almost non-stop for the past seven years my three best friends and brothers have decided it's time for them to leave the band. We were fortunate to have played concerts together all over the world and play in front of some amazing crowds. Unfortunately all of this touring has put a strain on our family lives and my brothers have decided to be home more often and continue to be amazing husbands and fathers. Please join me in supporting my brothers Philip, Paul and Daniel in this decision. I know we're all going to miss them so much - but no one will miss them more than me. They are rooting for me and want me to go on and keep going forward with Remedy Drive, which is what I'm doing.

I know this news will be hard for a lot of our fans to hear but it also excites me to tell you what the future has in store for us. We are not skipping a beat and I am welcoming three great new members to play with me as Remedy Drive!

Change is something that has always been scary for me but I've never been more inspired to make music and share it with our fans! I've written more songs lately than I've ever written before and I'm really excited for everyone to hear them. The new band and I have recorded five new songs and we're releasing an EP with all new music on May 2nd! These songs are some of the most honest songs I've ever written.

In fact, we’re so excited for you to hear our new songs that we are giving away a free download of the title track, "Light Makes A Way!"

It's a lot of fun to get this song out there after waiting for so long. This EP is something that I'm really proud of and cannot wait for everyone to hear.

I'm really looking forward to everyone meeting the new guys on the road as well. We're playing all the new songs and everyone's favorites from Daylight Is Coming. It has been a huge encouragement to me these past few weeks to see so many people singing these songs with me in the crowd.

Below are our tour dates for the next month including our first stop in Canada ever, as well as one of my favorite festivals - Agape. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
David
